About the College

Dr. PAIU’s School of Visual Effects, Design & Art, Popularly known as VEDA College. offers a variety of job-oriented UG and PG degrees to enable students to become future-ready and find employment in the rapidly growing AVGC Industry. Recognizing the urgent need, VEDA College took appropriate steps to ensure that it has the best and most appropriate course for the next generation’s bright and progressive future.

The university launched this college with a list of full-time courses in collaboration with India’s most well-known industry experts that would equip students with the necessary skills required to gain employment and growth in local and global Animation, VFX and Gaming Industry. This was done by identifying promising sectors and putting together a potent syllabus with its full complement of Graphics Designing, Animation, VFX, and Game Designing.

Today we are happy to inform you that the college receives higher placements with every passing year.

Dean's Message

It’s my privilege to share my views from the Dean’s chair while welcoming you to the School of Visual Effects, Design & Art. As you continue your visit to our college, a wonderful collage of culture, art, animation, creativity and learning will unfold before you. We are a ‘Knowledge Community’ which encourages partners, faculty members, students, alumni and parents alike to involve themselves fully in all aspects of college life and to identify themselves with its core values of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Cooperation and Achievement. Our School is large enough to provide a broad and differentiated curriculum that caters to varied interests and abilities in the area of Art, Animation, Design and Visual Effects. I am justifiably proud of the fact that in a short span our college has grown from strength to strength. In addition to a steady increase in the number of students, we also have an ever-increasing number of subjects and courses at both the UG & PG levels. Animation, VFX, Gaming and Comic (AVGC) as an industry keeps proliferating worldwide by the day.

With this, the demand for talented Indian artists and workforce is gaining pace, opening doors of opportunity for creative students and allowing them to turn their passion into their profession

Student life at VEDA is designed such that learning goes beyond the classroom with our students involving themselves in a bevy of co-curricular, outdoors, industry visits and the like. These afford our students the opportunity to learn management skills, life skills, team building, cultural ethics, planning skills, and most importantly, leadership skills.
