About the Institute

Allana Institute of Management Sciences, Pune has been in existence since 1998. The institute offers a 2-year full-time MBA program, affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and DTE Government of Maharashtra. The MBA program of the institute has been accredited by The National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi, Government of India from 6th August 2013 for a period of 3 years. The institute is located in an ultramodern complex and has an excellent infrastructure, fully equipped library, modern computer laboratories, air-conditioned conference rooms, classrooms with the latest audio-visual aids, cafeteria, and other amenities.

The institute is headed by Dr. Roshan Kazi, who is a Professor and Director at Allana Institute of Management Sciences, Pune, and Dean, Faculty of Commerce & Management. He is a renowned sought-after trainer in statistical software SPSS. The institute also has senior and experienced faculty members and innovative teaching methodologies and strategies guaranteed to unleash the potential of the students and to produce efficient and effective managers and professionals.

Admission Notice

Students can apply for admission between March and September of every year. More information about the exam can be obtained from the college’s website.

Placement

As part of the MBA curriculum at AIMS, students undergo practical work experience training in a company for two months. The training program helps students build strong practical skills by implementing theoretical knowledge gained during academic programs. Thus, project work is a minor research work on the corporate world. Students take up project work under the guidance of a faculty member. At the end of four weeks, a project report on corporate experience must be submitted for evaluation. The university appoints External Experts to evaluate the project work by conducting viva voce examinations for the students. For more information, visit here.
