H.G.M. Azam College of Education

Program Title: B.Ed., B.A.B.Ed., B.Sc.B.Ed.

Program Wise Eligibility: A candidate must have passed a Bachelor's Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities or Commerce from a recognized university with at least 50% marks, or Bachelor's in Engineering/Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% marks.

Program Title: BACHELOR OF ARTS EDUCATION (B.A.B.Ed.)

Program Wise Eligibility: The Students who have passed or appeared for their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/Std. 12) or an equivalent to 10+2 education examination from any stream (i.e.Science, Commerce, Arts etc.) from any statutory board of education in India with at least 50% marks, are eligible to apply for admission to the course. The reservation and relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the central government/state government whichever is applicable.

Lateral Entry Eligibility (If Any): N.A.

Admission Procedure: Admission to the B.A.B.Ed. The program will be given on the basis of merit after qualifying anyone CET i.e. MAH-B.A.B.Ed. CET, PERA CET, CET conducted by Dr.P.A Inamdar University or CET Conducted by any other State. The reservation and relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the central government/state government whichever is applicable.

Program Title: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

Program Wise Eligibility: Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.

Relaxation: Candidates qualified in UGC-NET or teacher fellowship holders. Those who have qualified M.Phil./SET/NET in Education.

Lateral Entry Eligibility (If Any): N.A.

Admission Procedure: Selection will be based on through PET conducted by the University. Eligible Candidates can apply online through the official website. P.G. Admission Section of the University shall notify on an annual basis a predetermined and manageable number of Ph.D. scholars to be admitted depending on the number of available Research Supervisors. The admission process will comprise of two steps:
1. Entrance test.
2. Interview.
